2010 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
On July 11, 2010 the Los Cabos Humane Society participated in A community Fashion Show put on by the new PLAZA SENTERO shops. It was an opportunity to gain exposure in the barrio communities and spread the word about humane care and treatment of animals.
AT THE STYLE SHOW, AIDA TRUJILLO, LCHS PRESIDENT, WAS ASKED BY THE MC, CABO MIL`S KIKI TOVAR, TO TALK ABOUT THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND ANIMAL RESCUE WHICH SHE DID IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS OF ATTENDEES--
THE LCHS LOOKED GREAT!

NEW T SHIRTS, SO THE LCHS WAS A MAJOR PRESENCE-
ALSO THE LCHS HAS PARTICIPATED 3 SUNDAYS IN A ROW IN THE CICLOVIA DOWNTOWN
AND WAS OUT IN FORCE AGAIN THIS AM. WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN TENT SET UP
OUTSIDE OF PUERTO PARAISO WITH OUR LOGO, SOON.
ALONG WITH THE CACTUS BIKE CLUB AND AMIGOS DE CABO SAN LUCAS THE HS IS NOW CONSIDERED A MAJOR SPONSOR OF THE SUNDAY MORNING CICLOVIA RECREATIVA.
April 11: 2010 PAWS & CLAWS GOLF TOURNAMENT
Amy and Señor were two of the lucky ones to be adopted at the 2010 Paws & Claws.
Amy was adopted by Peter and Carrie Walsh; Señor, a Siamese, was adopted by
Pete and Trudy Dunn, and both families are from Cabo San Lucas.

Golfers enjoyed playing the back nine holes at the beautiful Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol, which was donated through the efforts of golf pro Greg Tallman.
Nearly 180 people were in attendance at the dinner following the tournament. The music playing during the evening was also donated by performers Suzy Q, Los Mosquitos, and Vintage.
"Our final money count is not all in, but it looks like we reached our goal of $57,000. This was from ticket sales, different levels of sponsorships, silent and live auctions and additional discounted rounds of golf for the Ocean Course at Cabo del Sol purchased by the golfers. We also would like to thank Capella, Querencia, Nancy Rogers, Galeria de Ida Victoria for their live auction donations and all the other businesses and individuals from Cabo San Lucas and San José that donated items and participated as sponsors
Paw & Claws is our first major event of 2010 and reaching our goal means that we can continue our work and not have to cut back on any of the programs we are currently offering such as spay/neuter, education, adoption and rescue. The money raised is crucial to our 2010 operating budget of $258,000 USD. This is the amount needed to operate at our present pace and hit our year's goal of 2540 surgeries and to maintain an average population of 65 dogs and 35 cats at our Animal Center," LCHS President Aida Trujillo said.
