    Full-Time Veterinarian, Dr. Alan Irail Ottez Reyes is from La Paz.  He studied at Universidad Autonoma de Baja California Sur
    in La Paz. Dr. Reyes works with Dogs, Cats, Horses & Turtles.
    He uses the most advanced technologies for his surgery.

    Dr. Reyes says: "I am very happy to be a part of the Los Cabos Humane Society and I am happy to be able to share with others the experience of caring for, and understanding animals.”

    There are a number of other veterinarians that come
    from Tijuana and other parts of Mexico
    to offer assistance to Dr. Reyes when they can.


    Dr Alan is hard at work six days a week
    Spaying, Neutering and giving medical care.



    Generous and talented volunteer veterenarians
    come from all over mexico to assist with spay/neuter.

    STERILIZATIONS are conducted every MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY.   Special arrangements can be made to have surgery conducted the other days of the week.   The center can accommodate between 12 and 14 appointments daily.

    1. Call for an appointment.  (624)129-8346  Evaristo Castro Rosas

    2. Arrive at 8am with your animal.  Your animal can have nothing to eat or drink from 12am the night before the surgery.

    3. Your animal will be ready by 4pm.

    4.  Evaristo or our Vet will give post-surgery care instructions. 
    Your pet must be kept still and protected for the evening
    until the anesthesia has completely worn off.

    5. The service is available to everyone and is
    free of charge to low-income families.




    Volunteer assistants dine on cookies while
    hard at work.... They maintain a great sense
    of humor despite the intense working conditions!

    As tremendous as the problem of pet overpopulation still is,
    it can be solved if each of us takes just one small step,
    starting withnot allowing our animals to breed.

    CLINIC UPDATE:

    JUNE 25, 26, 2010 - IN SAN JOSE - OVER 90 ANIMALS WERE STERILLIZED AS A FREE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNTIY.

    JUNE 28 & JUNE 29, 2010, IN THE CLINIC AT THE CENTER, OVER 170 ANIMALS WERE STERILIZED AS A FREE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.

    THANKS TO OUR RESIDENT VET DR. ALAN AND OUR WONDERFUL VOLUNTEER VETS WHO COME FROM TIJUANA AND LA PAZ TO HELP.
