DONATE A DOG OR CAT KURANDA BED TO LCHS

Thousands of dogs in shelters sleep on cold, wet concrete floors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Cats in cages have little alternative to sleeping in their litter pans.

The Donate-a-Bed program was created to enable pet lovers to help bring a bit of the same comfort to these deserving shelter animals that yours enjoy at home. The beds are sent directly to the shelter in the donor's name at a discount of about 30%.

For dogs: it makes a world of difference for homeless dogs by donating a soft, dry off-the-floor bed to sleep on. The calming effect reduces stress levels and helps to promote adoption.

For cats: it increases floor space for the cat in a cage gives them the opportunity to jump up and view their surroundings from a private spot. The space underneath the bed creates a cozy nook for a shy cat to feel secure.
